Must be proficient with using various web-based platforms for data entry, monitoring, and reporting. Must be able to use and operate a digital audio console with multiple inputs and outputs for monitors, special effects equipment, and sound reinforcement. Must have experience with various audio-visual technologies such as projectors, displays, control systems, etc. Must be able to lead a team, student workers (up to 4), and/or oversee contract labor associated with events. Equipment and services provided for transport, set-up, strike include but not limited are the following: audio, video, production, staging, tables/chairs, pipe and drape, and lecterns.
An Associate's Degree, 2 years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith is required. A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
A valid Texas Driver License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.
All applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Provide technical and logistical consultation for event planning. Coordinate equipment needs for events (sounds, visual equipment, tables, chairs, etc)
Provide on-site support and/or answer calls and emails during events to insure delivery of equipment and technical services and troubleshoot problems that may arise.
Responsible for inventory and maintenance on Institutional Events technical and logistical equipment. Also assist with maintenance of Institutional Events vehicle fleet.
Hire, train, and supervise student workers to support programming needs of events.
Research and advise on new technologies for potential purchase for Events.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
