Description: Assists with managing and overseeing various graphics functions for the University such as print and electronic marketing images and materials as well as print, media, broadcast, digital, and e-commerce graphics. Coordinates departmental workflow, ensures designs reflect the University's messaging and style, and that projects are completed by deadline and within budget.
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Assistant Director of Graphic Design. This position will assist the Director of Graphic Design in developing the visual brand of the Athletic Department across print, digital, and audio/video platforms, while also assisting in capturing content via photo/video at games and department events. This individual will collaborate with predominantly internal constituencies-with an additional with an additional emphasis on Marketing and Pitt Studios projects--to provide a consistent brand and message across a variety of print materials, digital artwork, and varied promotional materials as needed. Photo, video, and/or motion graphic experience preferred.
