Department OverviewThe function of the Health Information Specialist 2 (Image Library Technician) position within Diagnostic Imaging Services is to perform digitization, conversion and distribution of radiographic patient images and reports at OHSU, as well as from/to other facilities, while providing quality customer service for both internal and external customers. This position participates in a wide variety of tasks, resulting in accurate and efficient utilization of electronic image and data storage within a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), EHR and a RIS (Radiology Information System) environment.
