Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ph.D. in Particle or Nuclear Physics
• Clear and concise oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability for disseminating research results by writing manuscripts and giving academic presentations

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge in the real-time system at nuclear and high energy experiments, that includes digital electronics, readout, triggering, and online computing
• Knowledge and programming experience in scientific Machine Learning
• Working knowledge of tracking reconstruction and tracking performance evaluation
• Working knowledge of Linux Operating System
• Programming experience in C++, ROOT, and GEANT
• Working knowledge of large-scale data processing
• Experience in the scientific and technical development towards the Electron Ion Collider
• Research experience demonstrated through a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
