Temporary Full-time Illustration FacultyWithin the last decade, the field of illustration has experienced a breathtaking renaissance. As a result, we seek a multi-disciplinary colleague who is versed in the illustration industry, with experience in traditional as well as digital/new media applicable to the field of illustration, to join our faculty in a 1-year, full-time temporary position. Applicants should have a first-hand knowledge of the ever-expanding field of illustration and be capable of teaching a wide range of media. Candidates must also be interested in challenging students to think critically and be committed to helping Illustration majors reach their artistic potential and assist seniors with preparation for graduate school. The successful candidates shall have teaching experience, as well as a thriving studio practice that demonstrates a multi-disciplinary skill-set. They must be able to teach a wide-range of courses at all levels within the department and have the potential or demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse student body. Colleges of the Fenway is a collaborative effort of five neighboring Boston-based colleges in the Fenway area.
