The Faculty Affairs Manager supports the Associate Provost in all matters related to Faculty Affairs. Specific responsibilities include the administration of systems and processes for tenure and promotion, faculty annual review, faculty workload agreements, and Faculty180. The manager is also responsible for training faculty and administrators on the use of Faculty180, assisting the Associate Provost with data and reports, and liaising with offices across campus.
Duties & Essential Job Functions:
1. Systems & Processes: Assists the Associate Provost in planning, implementation, and evaluation of systems and processes. Troubleshoots and makes recommendations for more efficient processes and better use of technologies and software. Works proactively and collaboratively with internal and external units that provide data and/or support needed to maintain faculty affairs processes and systems. 2. Annual Processes: Manages the administration of annual processes such as annual faculty review, faculty workload, promotion, and tenure. Develops and monitors operational calendars for the university by setting and communicating deadlines, by working with academic units and deans’ offices on the submission of materials, and by communicating effectively with TCU stakeholders (deans, chairs, faculty, etc.). Serves as a liaison with the UAC and works with the Chancellor’s Office on the preparation of the promotion and tenure materials for the Board of Trustees. 3. Faculty180: Oversees and ensures the accessibility and availability of Faculty180, TCU’s faculty content management system. Develops platforms in Faculty180 and manages their administration relevant to annual processes. Ensures quality control and integrity of records and reporting within Faculty180. Provides reports based on data housed in Faculty180 as required by various constituencies. Serves as a liaison for Faculty180 by convening the Faculty180 Faculty Advisory and College Administrator Committees on a regular basis. 4. Training: Provides training for faculty and administrators annually regarding the use of Faculty180 including the processes of data entry and report generation as they relate to various annual cycles. Ensures inclusive excellence in interactions with faculty and administrators across the disciplines and fields at TCU. 5. Professionalism: Liaises with internal offices to develop and maintain working partnerships. Prepares confidential reports for use by various constituencies (internal and external) on an ongoing basis. Communicates as a representative of the Provost office by composing correspondence with the Provost's signature. 6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree. • 5 plus years of professional experience in higher education and knowledge of university academic structure, policies and procedures.

• Experience with web-based platforms like Faculty180.
