Park Planner II
Come join the NRPA - Gold Medal Award Winner of 2022 for Excellence in Parks and Recreation Management! Provides professional planning and design work on proposed park and recreation projects; performs related work as required. The principal function of an employee in this class is to plan, design, and/or implement Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) for a wide variety of City parks, recreational areas, trails, and other related City facilities. This class is mid-level in this professional series and is distinguished from the Planner level in the series by the decreased supervision and increased complexity of assignment.  The work is performed under the direct supervision of the Parks and Recreation Development and Planning Admin
