The Environmental Studies Program at Hamilton College invites applications for a one-year leave-replacement visiting position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in the area of environmental data science, beginning July 1, 2023. We seek candidates whose teaching and research emphasizes data science and/or geospatial approaches to the study of pressing global environmental issues. The successful candidate will demonstrate their expertise in digital and/or computational approaches to environmental data science. Preference will be given to candidates with interdisciplinary training in the sciences. The candidate will be expected to teach courses in Environmental Studies including Introduction to Environmental Data and Introduction to Environmental Studies as well
