FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College invites applications for anAssistant Professor of Policy (Marxe School), tenure track, with a specialization in international cybersecurity and global security. Areas of policy research could address cybersecurity policy, cyber conflict, election security, online disinformation, transnational cyber-governance, technology and national security. Teaching responsibilities will include electives in a new Global Security concentration and core courses in the Master of International Affairs (MIA) program.

This position is part of an interdisciplinary cluster of new faculty across the College studying data science. Faculty in this cluster will prepare students to understand the threats and opportunities of the digital world. They will form an interdisciplinary data analytics group that will conduct high level research while simultaneously suffusing data science across all areas of the Baruch curriculumto improve student employment prospects.

NOTES:

Ph.D. or equivalent degree in relevant discipline required.

COMPENSATION

$99,532.
