The primary role of the Director - Cloud Services will lead the strategic and technical design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive Cloud Services program.
The right individual for this role will have the ability to build and lead successful teams, experience with a variety of compliance frameworks, proficiency in technical concepts, and the ability to manage complex projects. The Director - Cloud Services reports to the Chief Information Security Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Seven years of professional IT experience, preferably building or operating programs to deliver enterprise IT systems, applications, and platforms on-premises and in the cloud
An exceptional understanding of program management, project management and business analysis practices (Agile/Scrum).
One to three years of management experience
Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience
Strong customer service orientation
Experience in higher education preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
Previous IT Engineering experience
Experience with federal security standards such as FedRAMP and FISMA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work collaboratively with application development leads, senior cloud engineers, key stakeholders, and executive management to develop the Northeastern cloud roadmap, program requirements, scope, release plans, strategic objectives, and priorities
Directs and administers an independent program with complete responsibility for administrative and programmatic activities.
Participate in technical architecture planning, data architecture design, project execution, and deployment of products; lead efforts to resolve key project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths.
Oversees collaboration among team members in DevOps and Cloud Engineering. Assists in the coordination of technical activities and the development of new or expanded Cloud Services
Assesses program's effectiveness, and recommends changes to program's content, policies, and procedures accordingly.
Establishes success metrics for the Cloud Services program.
