Paws & Claws Animal Hospital is a rapidly growing, progressive, Independently owned  4-DVM small animal practice located in Damascus, Maryland, a quaint town known best for  “small town charm,” Just 30 minutes from Washington, D.C.! Our course features five exam rooms, a digital record system, a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and digital dental radiographs. We offer a flexible family schedule and have a strong support staff.   You will NOT be required to provide overnight care or on-call duties!

We seek a career-oriented individual committed to the profession, values compassionate care and teamwork, and will put forth the extra effort needed to achieve the high-quality service we strive to provide. You will enjoy the relaxed 30–40-minute appointments to allow you to develop relationships with clients and practice quality veterinary medicine.

Experienced DVMS, as well as new graduates, are encouraged to apply.

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university  

Licensure in good standing to practice in the State of Maryland 
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the Veterinary Code of Ethics  
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
Models a Professional and courteous demeanor with staff and clients 
Commitment to ongoing professional and educational development and growth
