Salary is commensurate with training and experience. This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon performance and funding. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Extension Specialist is responsible to the Assistant Dean for the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) and works under programmatic direction of the project Principal Investigator/ Associate Professor for Community Health and Vaccine Education Project Manager. This position will be responsible for providing support to the grant-funded TN Vaccine Education program in Central Tennessee. Included activities involving delivery of current, research-based subject matter information and training to Extension agents, and community partners; developing educational materials to support programs; planning and conducting regional and statewide events and supporting curriculum development; and planning, conducting, implementing and evaluating educational program components.
