Job Duties: Refund/Remittance Representatives have responsibilities in payment posting, remittance management of third party payer payments and general accounting principles that support the physician professional revenue cycle. In addition, some cross training will be expected related to review and reconciliation of all credit balance and undistributed payment transactions for all ECUP clinical site services. They are responsible for effectively identifying the cause of all credit balances and undistributed payments within the EPIC EHR Patient Accounting System and resolving these within the policies and procedures as established by East Carolina University, ECU
