Detailed Job Description The Program Manager for Executive Education is responsible for managing the operations of the Executive Education department. These activities include: course delivery logistics, scheduling, data operations, student registration, student engagement, budget reporting, and event management. The position requires strong project management skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage operations collegially across departments and functions. The candidate will work closely with the program director and will be independently responsible for most activities.
Manage operational aspects of the Saunders Executive Education programs for six simultaneous cohorts plus customized company programs, and assess and modify program processes as needed to meet department and quality assurance goals.
Create and manage all course EMBA schedules and calendars, which includes working closely with faculty to ensure compliance with course delivery procedures. Other logistics include maintaining the master schedule, tracking teaching, handling instructor payments, ordering course materials, and working with faculty to customize EMBA course shells which provide a uniform experience for students.
Analyze relevant program metrics such as student lifecycle demographics (prospect, student, alumni), program performance measures, and provide all ranking survey submissions (e.g., USN&WR, Poets & Quants, Princeton Review, etc.).
Assist Director with periodic analysis of course grade trends, instructor performance metrics, and scheduling and reporting of program goal assessment results.
Develop, build, and use analytical and data collection tools (Excel, Qualtrics, etc.) to measure program performance, capstone client project submissions, and student evaluations (residencies, international trip, alumni events, etc.).
Responsible for the planning and execution of all special events, including semi-annual 3-day new-student orientations, mid-program business simulation residency, graduation/commencement events, and other ad hoc events. Operational and logistics prime for international trip-work with Risk Management, Global Office and Accounting to ensure compliance with RIT requirements.
Responsible for overall program budget management, including purchase order and invoice payment initiation, budget tracking to actuals, and monthly financial reconciliations. Develop, build and maintain tools to analyze spending year-over-year, identify projections, and recommend areas of cost-saving.
Manage relationships closely with other on campus departments (e.g. admissions, billing, registrar, student services, payroll, accounting, corporate sponsors, etc.) and other university stakeholders.
Manage customer experience in development and deployment of Customized Executive Education programs to ensure friction-free student experience.
Primary liaison with EMBA students on operational issues and advocate on their behalf with all internal and external university stakeholders. Advisor to EMBA student population in terms of academic support, team functionality, and student needs. Act as a confidential sounding board for student concerns and gather feedback of program effectiveness to provide recommendations for continuous improvement of services.
Hire, train, and supervise student worker who assists with administrative, marketing, and other tasks.

Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience:
Bachelor's or equivalent experience
4 years of relevant experience preferably in higher education.
Skills:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously by working independently as well as part of a team in regard to problem solving for specific areas.
Demonstrated experience in defining, managing, and improving business processes.
Experience using Oracle or similar platforms to manage financial accounts.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
