Job Summary:
Independently analyze, identify, develop and communicate technical solutions. Devise and/or modify procedures to solve complex technical problems.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with product managers and service owners to gather, discuss, and document requirements
Translate business requirements and user research into conceptual process models, functional specifications and user stories to support application development, revisiting and revising previously-gathered requirements as needed.
Capture and document service/product enhancement requests and defects.
Assume product owner responsibilities for one or more IAM applications or tools, including needs analysis and product support
Collaborate on complex solution design including business process and policy matters
Create and maintain knowledge resources and rollout materials in conjunction with product and service owners, and support team
Support quality assurance activities and user acceptance testing
Identify opportunities for process and/or system improvements. Make suggestions to implement those changes.
Serve as first point of contact for production support issues in assigned service areas
Prepare and present materials to foster internal team knowledge transfer and alignment
Facilitate communication with stakeholders and partner customers
Perform data analysis using database query tools, spreadsheets and reports
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of two years' post-secondary education or relevant work experience

Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, and facilitation skills
Demonstrated team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor
Basic SQL query and reporting knowledge
Experience working with Agile project software delivery methodology
Experience with complex solution integrations a plus
Certificates and Licenses
Completion of Harvard IT Academy specified foundational courses (or external equivalent) preferred
Working Conditions
Interview and onboarding activity for this position may be conducted via telephone & Zoom video conferencing, based on the department's current presence on campus.
