As a Barclays Windows Server Engineer, you will work as a team member of the 24/7 IT support team to provide expert IT Support for IT Infrastructure of Barclay's. You will ensure all Incidents/Problems/Tasks recorded are closed within agreed SLA's. You will require individuals to have the utmost integrity. You will also require a high level of Commitment, impeccable personal skills, technical skills and expertise required to perform the specific requirements of the role.

What will you be doing?
??? Reactivating and pro-active resolution of Incidents, performing Changes, Upgrades to existing Windows Server Infrastructure ??? Supporting of Windows Clusters, antivirus, backups, deployment tools and monitoring tools, capacity management ??? Contribution to constant Service Improvements and Automation development ??? Implementation of Business driven changes and requests ??? You will be in charge of problem resolution including: problem management, root cause analysis and implementation of remedies ??? You will have knowledge and use of the change/configuration management system ??? You will be responsible for the provision of advice and consultancy aimed at minimizing the occurrence and impact of service ??? You will be responsible for compliance of all risk and audit requirements
What we're looking for:
??? Five years of experience working with Windows Server infrastructure (Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2012/2016/2019 Server, Active Directory, DHCP/ DNS servers) ??? Significant experience working with Server hardware (HP, DELL, Cisco, etc.) ??? Significant experience of Network Connectivity and protocols with respect to the WINDOWS platform (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, FTP, Telnet, LAN/WAN, etc.) ??? Five years of experience with PowerShell scripting or .NET/ C# Programming language
