The Role: Infrastructure Engineer
The Team: The Agile & PPM Tools team is responsible for developing and managing enterprise tools enabling Agile Execution (Azure DevOps), Project Portfolio Management (Solution Business Manager) and Reporting (Tableau), for all the S&P Global Divisions. These tools are used across S&P for Portfolio Management capabilities like prioritizing, executing and tracking Portfolios, Agile Workflow Execution to enable Agile delivery and Portfolio & Agile Analytics.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and provide technical resolution of complex issues which might arise and disrupt platform features or availability .
Tim ely responses to incident s around the platform, identify and isolate root cause quickly .
Collaborate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders as needed to resolve any issues .
Communicates, facilitates and escalates within the team and beyond as appropriate , including timely and relevant updates.
Suggest and implement ideas to improve overall availability or supporting processes .
Carrying out deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within the implemented cloud structure.
Provide support for Production, DR and lower environments making sure platform is stable and highly available .
Work closely with supervisor/manager in day-to-day operation activities .
Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response .
Identifies and initiates changes to improve cloud operation efficiency, following S&P Global standards.
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
3 to 8 + years of experience in IT.
Experience working with or managing vendor provided platforms to support Enterprise level applications.
Solid understanding or experience with web technologies (Windows Servers, IIS, Tomcat, Networking/DNS .
Has experience or basic understanding of enterprise scale Cloud Ops .
Solid knowledge and experience on software development, build, deployment, and operation.
Solid knowledge around Linux system s operation .
Skilled in use of these programming languages : Shell/Python/PowerShell (two of them at least).
Functional understanding of the DevOps model and agile project management.
Excellent troubleshooting and Analytics skills.
Strong organizational skills and prioritization of requests fr om various stakeholder s .
Strong verbal and written communication in English.
Passionate about work and ability to learn and adapt quickly .
Open to working flexible hours as per business needs
Nice to have:
Experience in AWS related technologies ( eg. EC2, RDS, ALB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch , DataDog ) to support and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution .
Prior experience managing low code platforms.
Experience with Agile or SAFe
Knowledge/Experience in databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server/AWS RDS) operations.
Familiar ity with Big Data tools and technologies would be a plus.
Working experience with an international company.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,300 to $146,100. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
