Job Responsibilities The Business Development will coordinate and assist in market research and business analysis for the IT Digital CoLab department. This position reports directly to either Director of Innovation, Product Manager, or Innovation Manager. Using analytical skills, this individual will present market trends and strategic business recommendations to CoLab leadership based on their market research, technology evaluation, clinical assessment, and business analysis to support organizational goals. This position will be responsible for conducting research and evaluation of technologies, products, market trends related to CoLab's innovation pipeline for co-design, co-innovation, co-development, co-validation, co-transformation, and strategic purchasing. They will also provide project support for technical projects including discovery, requirements gathering, project scoping, and translating business requirements to technical requirements. Will engage in a broad range of activities from user interviews, focus groups, crafting user stories, to participating in scrums with business and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications: Applicants are encouraged to upload license and certification if required of the position.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Intermediate project management skills
Experience supporting projects in the healthcare or technology industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of staff, partners and stakeholders
Thorough knowledge of business intelligence functions, analytics, industry standards and best practices
Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound, relevant proposals and analytical reports
Thorough knowledge of relevant internal databases, BI applications and tools
Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear concise manner
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience gathering product requirements, working with development teams, creating roadmaps, and coordinating technical projects to success
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools; and experience coordinating technical projects to success
Experience providing analytical support in a healthcare or technology setting
Experience working with project management and data tools: Asana, Jira, Tableau
