1. Works effectively with the process owners to document the scope, requirements, objectives and performance targets. 2. Elicits and writes requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely. 3. Decomposes business and user requirements into functional requirements. Defines quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements. 4. Represents requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or scenarios. 5. Compares functional specifications to functionality in commercial off-the-shelf software to identify appropriate matches 6. Actively contributes in the testing and quality assurance process. Collaborates with developers and end-users to insure that application functionality meets client needs. 7. Contributes in requirements prioritization and solution risk analysis 8. Contributes to the communication planning/delivery and departmental readiness plan. Supports metrics integration and execution for optimal results. 9.
