The Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA, is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position in the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. The position involves clinical (diagnostic and therapy), teaching and research activities, including training of nuclear medicine and radiology residents at BWH, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and other affiliated hospitals within the Mass General Brigham (MGB) Health system. Candidates for this position must possess board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) or have Nuclear Radiology certification. Academic rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Located in the thriving Boston metropolis, the Department of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a member of Mass General Brigham Integrated Healthcare system, comprised of 2 renowned academic medical centers and 10 specialty and community hospitals. It has connections to biotech and the broad scientific community within Harvard Medical School and MIT, providing ample opportunities for innovative research and teaching. The department has a robust education and research portfolio including 42 residents and 65 subspecialty fellows. The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and its network including DFCI and other MGB hospitals is equipped with state-of the-art equipment including multiple digital PET/CT and SPECT/CT systems. The nuclear medicine program also includes a Medical Cyclotron, PET Radiochemistry laboratories, and small animal imaging resources. The division is very active and its clinical service covers a wide scope of nuclear medicine including cardiology, oncology and neurology. The Division is dynamic and progressive and provides abundant opportunities for research and innovation.
