Job Overview
Serve as an adjutant to the Assistant Vice Provost and University Registrar in stewarding Office of the University Registrar registration, records management and student support operations.
Essential Functions
Plan, coordinate, supervise, and serve as a resource person for, one or more areas within the Office of the University Registrar.
Enforce and monitor office compliance with applicable university policies, and state and federal laws and regulations.
Participate in the development, implementation, management and monitoring of Office of the University Registrar administrative goals, budgets, objectives, priorities, standards, policies and procedures.
Provide both assistance and advice to the University Registrar and senior university administrators on key policy initiatives.
Responsible for project management of Registrar-related projects and initiatives.
Participate in the implementation, modification/upgrade, and management of office-related student-information and/or web-utility systems.
Participate in the design, implementation and update of measures, initiatives, policies and procedures that ensure the accuracy, integrity, privacy, and security of student academic records.
Work collaboratively with university academic and administrative units on student support initiatives and represents the Office of the University Registrar on university committees.
Provide consultation and support assistance to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the public.
May prepare or support the preparation of student enrollment and/or related data/information for the UC campus community, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, and/or other state/federal agencies.
May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/terminations, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Nine (9) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Five (5) years of relevant experience. Including one (1) or more years previous supervisory experience, at an institution of higher learning.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Experience within in an institution of higher learning office of the registrar or equivalent.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.

Competitive salary range of $75,000 - 85,000 dependent on the candidate's experience.
