The Organization of American Historians (OAH) is a unit at Indiana University in the College of Arts and Sciences (The College). Job Summary
This is a technical position within the Organization of American Historians (OAMH) performing a variety of tasks related to the development and delivery of content via the web. The position will focus on all aspects of managing OAMH web-based systems, including both technical design and website and systems maintenance.
General Responsibilities:
Provides ongoing analysis, monitoring, and administration of university website(s) and internal intranet sites.
Applies updates, upgrades, and patches and performs testing to ensure website effectiveness and usability.
Ensures compliance with university web and internet standards.
Assists in developing and maintaining documentation of backup and recovery plans.
Reviews and documents user feedback; recommends improvements to design/development teams based on feedback.
Consults with website stakeholders to determine appropriate web content and makes updates/revisions accordingly.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE

Some experience in related field

Experience with Windows system administration or ConfigMgr/SCCM.
Experience working in history, humanities, or the social sciences.
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
