Job Summary/Basic Function: The Department of Theatre and Dance at Dickinson College is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Performance and Directing, beginning in July of 2023, pending funding approval. We are seeking a vibrant artist whose primary responsibilities will include teaching emergent courses on Contemporary Performance Practices, Directing, Acting for the Camera, Performance Studies/Theory, and/or courses related to the applicant's expertise or focus. In addition, the professor is responsible for directing one main stage production per year and supervising ongoing student projects, while maintaining an active professional presence.
