The Application Analyst II is primarily responsible for supporting all aspects of applications that support the operation of the clinic. The role will also provide technical application support, troubleshooting, systems change management, and training of users. The individual will also support senior analysts and engineers with testing and process development and end to end system configuration tasks.
- Management of new software requests
- Coordinate the installation of new software
- Tier 1 & Tier 2 application support
- Develop Operational support plans for SAAS solutions
- Software inventory tracking
- Development of vendor management standards to track contract end date, release cycles, and overall support standards provided
- Early engagement with business to understand technology related problems
- Providing Business Analyst support on current and future state workflows
Responsibilities
- Supports application security.
- Manages and supports tier one technical support processes, such as break fix, troubleshooting, and systems change management.
- Conducts testing in tier 2 and tier 3 technical support processes.
- Delivers training.
- Builds and manages technical documentation.
- Complies with all regulatory mandates, as applicable.
- Builds, tests, manages, and supports system configuration.
- Supports requirements gathering and analysis. Tests custom system development.
- Builds, tests, manages, and supports application security.
- Designs and builds tier one technical support processes, such as break fix, troubleshooting, and systems change management.
- Designs, builds, manages, and supports tier 2 technical support processes.
- Builds and manages training.
- Builds and manages technical documentation.
- Complies with all regulatory mandates, as applicable.
- Designs system configuration.
- Requirements gathering and analysis.
- Work with business partners to understand and develop clear and defined problem statements.
- Build and foster effective relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Gather and analyze information about a problem to identify requirements and a path forward.
- Utilize problem management, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Evaluate and develop recommendations to meet problem statements.
- Analyze stakeholder needs and develop recommendations for a path forward.
- Organize information and present it to various levels of stakeholders.
- Develop and track to work breakdown structures for their assignments.
- Function as point of contact for vendors; support system enhancements when required.
- Stay informed of upcoming projects that may impact usage of new operational systems; analyze impacts and escalate to leadership.

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Strong communication skills both written and orally.
- Comfortable presenting information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center has a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy, and there are no exceptions for any employee who is patient-facing and/or requires access to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center facilities. The annual base salary range for this position is from $86,078.00 to $129,118.00 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
