GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Under the direction of the Director of the Human Imaging Core at the Athinoula A Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging in MGH Radiology, the lab engineer will be involved with the design, construction and maintenance of research instrumentation, in particular for use with MRI equipment. The engineer will spend a substantial amount of effort on training and performing the engineering and maintenance of peripheral devices and components used for a variety of research projects associated with the Center's MRI scanners that are supported and maintained by the Core.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Repair and install existing custom devices as neededMaintain and improve cabling between MRI control and equipment
