The Department of Neurosurgery in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a PENS Trial Recruitment Administrator. The PENS Study is a prospective, multi-institutional randomized double-blinded placebo-controlled clinical trial for the surgical shunting treatment of idiopathic Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (iNPH). The goal of the study is that, with demonstrated clinical effectiveness, the controversy over treating iNPH should be resolved. Secondary goals include developing an improved understanding of the both the symptom and disease pathologies, reduce the need for invasive CSF trial drainage, and improve identification and tracking of impairment and improvement in patients. Twenty sites across the U.S. and Canada are participating in
