Job Title: SVP/ Marketing & Communications Director
Supervisor Title: EVP/Chief Risk Officer

Position Purpose: The Marketing & Communications Director is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s marketing plan designed to reinforce the company’s brand and is in alignment with corporate strategic initiatives. This position oversees and coordinates marketing initiatives, ad/media buys, public web and social media sites, ensures communications and support collateral are appropriate and meet strategic objectives, and for the development and monitoring of the department’s budget.
Essential Duties:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a marketing plan which is in alignment with corporate goals and includes strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs which positively promotes the corporate brand, drives interest, and increases sales
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies, framework and programs related to corporate brand, marketing, communications, and advertising
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, both internally and externally
- Lead development and execution of marketing campaigns, including design, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
- Monitor and report on key marketing performance metrics, utilizing tracking tools which provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights
- Develop, manage, and routinely report on marketing budget, including expenditure spending, PR commitments and other financial considerations
- Assist other departments with public and employee facing branded materials in an effort to maintain bank wide consistency in branding
- Develop, coach and mentor direct reports in the marketing department
Training:
- 5+ years' experience in marketing, communications, and/or public relations
- 2+ years' experience in a corporate management role
- Strong experience in digital advertising, social media, and website management
- Demonstrated experience in creating successful marketing and public relations strategies
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- Exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to initiate and monitor multiple simultaneous projects
Communication:
This position requires effective written and verbal communication skills. Participation in various meetings/events including offsite and after-hours is expected.
Knowledge/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field. This position requires sound organization, recordkeeping, self-motivation, communication, analytical, and project management skills. A strong understanding of marketing functions is required. A strong aptitude and working knowledge of social media and digital advertising is required. Proficiency in the above listed “training” requirements is expected.
Working Conditions (How much time is spent standing, sitting, talking, use of hands, requirements to lift maximum weight amount and frequency):
This position will require periodic travel to branch offices, vendors, and special event venues. A significant amount of time will be spent working in an office environment, whereby the employee will be seated with routine lifting required. Working hours may vary on certain days or weeks depending upon corporate needs and various special events.
