Leads administrative and organizational support of Dr. Jessica Corman's STOICH project. Works with the Principal Investigator (PI) and project members to develop goals, objectives, critical success factors, and detailed project plans. Documents project progress for annual reporting and evaluation metrics and reviews for compliance with federal regulations; develops and maintains project management/communication tools (e.g., Slack, e-mail listserv, shared file space); provides administrative support for project meetings and associated travel; and assists with onboarding new project members. Coordinates financial oversight and public relations. Position housed at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; the project includes collaborators from Middlebury College (Vermont), University of Arkansas-Little Rock, University of Central Arkansas, and University of Wyoming.

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field plus three years of project management, business, laboratory, or information management experience. Demonstrated effective project management experience. Proficiency with PC-based word processing and spreadsheet software programs. Experience must demonstrate excellence in at least three of these skills: problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, time management, interpersonal, facilitation, and/or communication skills. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and facilitate transparent communication between diverse teams. Knowledge of budgeting and project management principles.

Master's degree in business administration or related field. Experience providing post-award oversight for grants and/or contracts. Experience with project management software programs. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Knowledge or background in biology, ecology, or environmental sciences. Knowledge of data management practices and technologies.
