Our Office of Undergraduate Admission is looking for a Director of the Office/Senior Project Manager to support a dynamic and growing team. The Admission office is a fast-paced office within a highly selective university, offering a diverse environment and variety in the workload. We are looking for someone who will demonstrate positive relationship building skills, an outgoing and positive approach, excellent communication and a keen attention to detail. Flexibility and your ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities will be key to success in this role as well.
As the Director of the Office/Senior Project Manager, you will support the overall efficiency of the Office of Undergraduate Admission through leading high-level operational and logistical support and project work. This position will report directly to the Dean of Undergraduate Admission, and serve as a member of senior leadership for the office. This position will also serve as the manager and daily supervisor to five full-time administrative employees, and a full-time Project Administrator.
This position requires an organized and self-motivated person who enjoys a variety working with strategic operational tasks in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. The successful candidate in this position is expected to proactively seek solutions to problems and suggest administrative and process improvements. Work requires significant knowledge of policies, procedures and organization of the division. The hiring department is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their work/life experiences, to the diversity of our academic community and our engagement with a multicultural student body.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Hiring, training, daily oversight, supervision and project distribution for six full-time employees
- Primary for hiring, pre-screening and interviewing for all levels of positions throughout the department
- Serving as a member of office's senior leadership and strategic planning teams
- Large-scale project management, coordination and support of officewide projects
- Developing and delivering data-driven presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Serve as officewide liasion in interactions with internal and external partners
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Minimum 3-5 years project management experience
- Minimum 3-5 years management experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Excellent leadership, mentoring and coaching skills required
