In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description
Within the broader Digital Informatics and Technology Solutions (DigITs) organization, the Product Management & Business Delivery team oversees product strategy, execution and adoption for large scale digital platforms that support MSK employees, clinicians, patients and ultimately the external market.
We empower our clinicians and patients with tools that support the best outcomes, and we support our researchers in their efforts to forge new territory in precision oncology. We evaluate our interventions to prove that the work we are doing is impactful, and we weigh costs and benefits to measure value and prioritize future initiatives.
We are excited to welcome a Manager II to our team! This role will develop our comprehensive learning and performance program for new and established employees. This role will introduce new learning products and collaborative design while partnering and strategizing with leaders across the organization to identify learning needs and objectives.
You will:
- Lead a team of trainers to build a strategy for learning programs with appropriate and engaging instructional materials and products, maintaining a center of knowledge about cutting edge learning solutions and standard methodologies in multimedia instruction.
- Develop an existing team and recruit necessary additional talent.
- Develop customized training programs for all new or enhanced applications supported by the division.
- Drive the implementation of learning solutions from conception to delivery in an environment that encourages staff development, continual improvement, and the highest quality service.
- Establish baseline metrics and continuously assess and improve training quality, delivering the right training at the right time.
- Drive continuous modification of program content/delivery to ensure that it reflects operational, regulatory and system application changes.
- Collaborate with, and gains consensus, of key partners to ensure success.
You have:
- 4-7 years of training and program/content development experience.
- Proven experience with e-learning / application of adult learning theory.
- Experience with implementing large scale training initiatives and system implementations.
- Proven technical systems training experience
- Demonstrated experience leading teams.
- Excellent communication skills to prepare presentations, course materials and to deliver training.
- Administrative skills to plan, prioritize and evaluate training programs.
Location: NYC Hybrid (In Office no more than 10x/year)
