We have an exciting temporary opportunity on our DIB team. This is a part-time, 20 hour/week, approximately six month position. The starting pay range for the temporary position is $23.00 - $25.00/hour based on experience and education.
This position works within a flexible hybrid model, with some days of the week in the office and some days remote.
What you will do:
As a member of our team, you will support the department in our programmatic media and communication efforts. Specific duties include:
Podcast Development Support:
Provide hosts with background research on podcast interview topics
Assist in writing host introductions and interview questions
Mix audio pieces and prepare podcasts for publishing
Write brief descriptions of podcasts
Tracking and reporting on podcast performance, listeners, etc. on variety of platforms
Website Content Support:
Social Media/Communications:
Help create social assets for podcasts, (Audiograms, Instagram Posts, Snapchat posts)
Partner with HR Communications on developing marketing and promotional materials for the office's programs, trainings, podcasts, and conferences.
Background skills needed:
Demonstrated skills and Experience in audio editing and using Adobe Audition (familiar with Adobe creative suite a plus),
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience developing marketing materials such as digital flyers and email newsletters
Experience setting up surveys and registration pages for events and trainings; knowledge of Qualtrics a plus
Experience maintaining web content, especially in a Drupal environment a plus
Close attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines (i.e. turnaround audio editing for 1 hour podcasts within 2-3 weeks).
Must be able to work effectively in both a team environment and independently when needed.
