Description of Work:
The Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts – Design Innovation Core (DIC), is the newest core research facility of the University of Nebraska. Through our design methodology and systems thinking approach, we use our multi-process production facilities to provide clients with end-to-end research/design/production capabilities across a range of output forms. We are uniquely positioned to serve University researchers, local start-ups, and global companies.
The Creative Producer is the founding employee of the DIC and will be responsible for building out the creative and technological team, establishing production workflows, business development, and some hands-on production work. The Creative Producer will report to the Director of the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience and 2 years production experience in one or more of the following: film, video, XR, AR, VR, graphic design, UI/UX, writing, animation, motion graphics, VFX, data visualization or other area of the emerging media arts. 2 years of project management experience. Must be Self-motivated Must have experience managing budgets, and experience in developing cross functional and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand and effectively deliver projects for clients. Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Skilled with Microsoft Office. Proficient in both a Mac and PC environment. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Startup experience. Experience working with higher education institutions
Posted Salary: 72,000/ yr minimum
