Job Description:What We Are Looking ForThe Baylor Collaborative on Hunger & Poverty is seeking a Program Specialist, Federal Programs to support the mission of the university by completing detailed assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity while also proactively communicating with the Program Director and project teams. This position exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate actions, resolve issues, and make working decisions within area of responsibility with minimal supervision, in a collaborative environment to ensure all stakeholders know project status in real time.
A Bachelor's degree, an active Christian faith and four years of relevant experience is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered lieu of the education and/or experience requirements.

What You Will Do - Collaborate with the project team and Project Director to strategize, plan, and implement the program to ensure all grant deliverables are achieved successfully and on time
- Collaborate with Project Director to help manage various project teams (e.g. shipping, customer support)
- Analyze and evaluate project processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Quickly identify project risks and communicate them to Project Director and leadership team
- Write reports required by our sponsors and other internal and external stakeholders as needed
- Create documents (e.g. templates, spreadsheets, timelines) necessary for project management
- Communicate with external stakeholders (e.g. food distributors, data integration specialists) to ensure seamless, on-time delivery of grant deliverables
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including program participants, school district personnel, federal officials, and BCHP and Baylor leadership
- Answer internal and external stakeholder questions about the program
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of processes
- Work closely with Data Manager to create reports, troubleshoot, and manage data
- Adhere to standards, policies, and procedures to ensure that all data is accurate, complete, maintains confidentiality, and complies with federal grant guidelines and Baylor policies
- Have advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Outlook, Teams; proficiency in Salesforce preferred
- Provide direct support to Program Director during planning, implementation, and assessment phases
- Attend BCHP staff meetings
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
