Responsibilities This position is for thethe Directory Services focus Microsoft Server based Active Directory technologies. The Directory Services incumbent is a recognized subject matter expert in Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Security, Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) and the engineering and design of deployable solutions. The Directory Services Lead is a solutions specialist that can translate the business and technical requirements at the strategic and tactical level that is used to configure operating systems, security patches, device drivers, and applications for a rapidly growing, highly critical and increasingly complex environment. This includes computing technologies such as: mobility, virtualization, single sign-on in clinical and other environments. The Directory Services incumbent creates solutions to security and vulnerability problems and or workflows that satisfy the customers' needs, increase the probability of system success, reduce risk and total-life-cycle cost.
Required Qualifications Applicants are encouraged to upload license and certification if required of the position.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in information technology, specifically in an engineering or architecture role
- Expert in Directory Services with the focus on Microsoft Active Directory (AD) Administration, Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), Azure AD (or other Cloud-based authentication platforms), and Group Policy authoring.
- Expert in designing, implementing and supporting Directory Services implementations.
- Expert in designing, implementing and supporting PKI implementations.
- Extensive experience in Server technologies, including Windows Server and VMware ESXi
- Extensive experience in engineering and defining AD security standards.
- Expertise in vendor patch analysis and deployment as it pertains to AD and systems utilizing AD
- Expertise with VB Scripting or Powershell.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, etc., or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems security and support (all versions).
- Experience with Okta, BeyondTrust, or similar identity tools.
- Experience with HPE hardware, including blade and rack mount servers and associated technologies
- Experience with project management practice and methodologies.
- Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure with the focus on VMware Horizon View.
- Experience with Citrix ZenApp.
