Job Description As a member of the Library Collections Group, under the supervision of the College Archivist, the Digital Archivist is responsible for activities related to managing born-digital materials and digital surrogates in the Wellesley College Archives. In collaboration with Archives and Library Collections staff, the Digital Archivist will develop strategies and initiate workflows related to acquiring, accessioning, processing, preserving, and providing long-term access to digital materials. The person in this position will also perform Archives duties including student training and  supervision, departmental outreach, reference, instruction, research, and collection management of both digital and physical materials in the Archives collection.
