Position Summary:
This position will support UCI Health Innovation Investment Fund (Fund). Identify, test and scale solutions that seek to improve the quality of care, positively impact population health initiatives and lower health care costs. In coordination with Executive Leadership, this position will work with functional leaders, clinical, and administrative staff to identify various operational challenges to fully understand and articulate the problem(s) to be solved. Maintains awareness of digital trends and innovation solutions which may bring value, strategic, and investment opportunities. Develops a network of investment relationships in the healthcare community to aid in uncovering opportunities, co-investment, and collaboration. The position will also work with the Chief Strategy Officer to similarly align strategies with emerging-product opportunities. The success of the Fund will be measured by both on the overall achieved tangible and intangible value, and the financial returns that result from acquisition or initial public offerings of the company. The second major focus of this position is to oversee the establishment and evolution of virtual care as a new dimension of service for UCI Health. Uses case development, technical infrastructure, organizational structure, and leadership as the program moves various pilots to full-fledged services and scaling. This position will work to connect innovation, technology, and investment to the establishment and ongoing expansion of virtual care along with other strategies as they are developed.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $112,000.00 Midpoint $194,900.00 Maximum $277,800.00
Required Qualifications:Ability to interact effectively, build trust and establish effective working relationships across the organization and with a wide variety of audiences
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Evidence of sound critical thinking skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically
Minimum of 7-10 years of healthcare and IT leadership experience to include program/project management
Full understanding of and ability to effectively respond to technology trends that drive competitive advantage under the dynamic conditions of healthcare
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Master's degree in business, health administration, or other related fields
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
