Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE), the largest auxiliary organization at Stanford University, supports the academic mission of the University by providing the highest quality services to students and other members of the university community. The Department has an annual operating budget of over $270 million, oversees a 7 million sq. ft. physical plant across the campus, and provides housing for over 13,000 students and dependents, serves over 18,000 daily meals at 30 dining and retail locations and over 300,000 meals at Athletic Concessions events, and hosts 20,000 conference guests annually. Additionally, R&DE comprises 1,100 staff in the following divisions: the Office of the Senior Associate Vice Provost, Student Housing, Stanford Dining, Stanford Hospitality & Auxiliaries, Stanford Conferences, and a team of R&DE strategic business partners: Finance & Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology and Communications.
R&DE Information Technology consists of 29 full and part-time staff. The department is organized into six teams: CIO office, Portfolio and Project Management Office, Applications Development, Support Services, Information Security, and Systems and Infrastructure Operations. R&DE IT supports over 65 applications and integrations, 2,200 technology assets, and 900+ users.
The office of R&DE's Chief Information Officer is accountable for the overall success of the IT organization. The CIO office provides vision and direction for the organization, staff development initiatives, and opportunities for technological innovation. R&DE IT is looking for an IT Operations Coordinator to manage the daily administrative functions of the organization, to support the CIO with calendar management and meeting logistics, and to act as the point of contact for all IT staff as it relates to office administration, event management, training and conference registration, and procurement and travel card reconciliation and compliance.

Administer,support,and manageadministrative functions for the office of the CIO and IT organization undergeneralsupervision
Independently implement, administer and evaluate day-to-day activities, including organizational calendar management, identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program
Collect and analyze data, create reports, review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program or function.
Analyze and interpret policies; develop, revise and implement procedures for program or function.
Represent the program or function as the key contact and subject matter expert within the department, unit or school. Commit resources and provide information and/or training. May also represent the program or function to external/internal stakeholders and constituencies
Organize and/or participate in outreach activities that may include developing communications and training, planning/promoting events and/or conferences
May participate in development of budgets, monitor, and approve expenditures. May perform limited forecasting and provide recommendations that determine the budget. Will prepare travel arrangements, reconcile procurement and travel card transactions, and submit expense requests for the organization.
May direct staff to perform various tasks and assignments. May also supervise student staff.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience
