Your Role:
Responsible for providing clients with skin care services. May be responsible for building a client database. Reconciles daily business transactions.

The Clinic for Transgender Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center brings together specialty trained experts to provide and coordinate comprehensive care for transgender and gender-nonconforming adults. we are looking for candidates to join our team to provide the high quality and patient-centered gender affirming services.
Clinic Hours:
Monday - Friday; Days. 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Refer client problems to physician according to established guidelines.
Refer patients to the surgeons when questions regarding skin care are not easily answered or there is a procedure type question.
Provide clients with professional skin care services including various types of facials, peels, waxes, makeup application, microdermabrasion and endermologie treatments.
Inform clients about services offered at all appointments.
Include existing client sin all promotional and marketing campaigns.
Educate clients about cosmetic lines and products.
Teach clients about their existing skin status and offer ways to enhance their skin care through product, nutrition and healthy lifestyle.
Offer clients teaching materials that relate to their choice of skin care products and products that best meet their individual needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Make sure that work area is cleaned and sanitized at days end by clearing and cleansing work table, countertops and equipment.
Clean and sterilize equipment daily.
Clean equipment with solutions that maintain sterility and meet clinic cleanliness standards.
Maintain supplies and inventory as necessary.
Add supplies and inventory as demand dictates keeping cost and budget targets in mind.
Assist physician/staff as needed.
Escort clients to rooms when clinic is busy and nurses are not available always remembering that no care is to be given only chaperoning.
Maintain client database for repeat visits and treatments.
Establish a data base that details number, name and addresses of client base for marketing purposes and for treatment continuity.
Reconcile daily transactions, make daily deposits and submit financial reports to the manager.
Make deposits everyday by 4pm.
Reconcile database and sales at end of business daily.
Reconcile sales and inventory at months end and send reports to manager and financial advisor.
Website Support
Update, maintain and monitor clinic website
Provide monthly utilization reports to Department Manager
Collaborate with management team, physician and marketing to appropriately update website content
Collaborate with management on monthly specials
Maintain financial for monthly specials and other clinic contributions, ex: door prize vs. retail
Marketing Support
Attend adhoc marketing meetings
Collaborate with management team and marketing to provide regular updates to digital display boards
Proof letters, brochures and other marketing collateral at least one time per year. Recommend changes if appropriate.
Attend both internal and external clinic events during regular and off business hours.
May assist with data base maintenance and front desk coverage.
When available, assist with Inform and Enhance to include making calls to patients. Additional duties must not impact role and responsibilities as Medical Aesthetician as stated in job description.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:
STERILIZATION PREPARATION (INTERMEDIATE):- Demonstrates mastery of sterilization preparation in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering sterilization preparation services without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving technical instruction, providing leadership, and generally raising the level of performance of others while on the job.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE - (INTERMEDIATE):- Demonstrates mastery of preventive maintenance in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully maintaining equipment, products, or systems without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to conduct predictive maintenance on core products and equipment.
SURGICAL EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE (INTERMEDIATE):- Demonstrates mastery of the equipment and related devices. Has solid knowledge of performance criteria. Able to use the equipment to accomplish advanced tasks associated with the specific devices. Easily resolves equipment problems.
DEPARTMENTAL POLICIES & PROCEDURES (INTERMEDIATE):- Demonstrates mastery of the departmental policies and procedures in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully interpreting and applying departmental policies and procedures without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving appropriate instruction, providing leadership, and generally raising the level of performance of others while on the job. Demonstrates an attentiveness and vigilance regarding violations of departmental policies and procedures, and takes appropriate action to remedy.
APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES (INTERMEDIATE):- Demonstrates mastery of the applications development standards and procedures in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully following applications development standards and procedures without requiring support and instruction from others. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT - (INTERMEDIATE):- Demonstrates mastery of Inventory Management skills in practical applications of a difficult nature. Successfully uses Inventory Management tools and products to manage inventory. Has substantial experience working in depots, warehouses or other large repositories of materials where managing inventory is business-critical. Has expertise in ABC analysis, lot tracking, and cycle counting. Contributes to the design and implementation of new tracking infrastructure technologies. Helps design electronic catalogs.
