The Department of Anesthesiology is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to support several studies within the department. This role would maintain oversight of participant recruitment and management of a multicenter clinical trial, THRIVE. Responsibilities include maintaining oversight of participant recruitment, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing study documents and electronic data collection tools, and implementing novel digital techniques for various research studies. The CRC will also hire, train, and functionally supervise junior research staff.

• Maintain oversight of and develop strategies for recruitment, enrollment, and retention of participants
• Manage and maintain regulatory compliance for several research studies, including developing protocols, consent forms, and other source documents
• Train and supervise junior research staff on study protocol
• Create standard operating procedures, surveys, and electronic data collection tools
• Support the Mobile Health and Wearables Studies center and implement mobile health and wearable technologies into specific studies

•Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field

• At least four years of human subjects research experience

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills and ability to work independently and as a team member

• High degree of comfort with smart phones, app installation, and overall technological competency

• Experience building and maintaining REDCap research databases

               • Comfortable being in an operating room and speaking with patients that will be undergoing surgery

• Experience with IRB submission and management
• Previous experience functionally managing and training other research staff
