Powder River Energy Corp. (PRECorp) is a member-owned electric cooperative serving five counties in northeast Wyoming with residential and commercial electric service.  PRECorp is accepting applications for a Fleet Manager position. The desired location would be in our Gillette office location.

The Fleet Manager position is responsible for the administration and development of the Cooperative Fleet Management Program with responsibilities to include supervision of vehicle acquisition and disposal, inspection, maintenance and repair of PRECorp’s fleet equipment, vehicle/equipment licensing, permits, and necessary tracking and reporting requirements.

Supervises expeditors and the movement of equipment across our territory to arrange for repairs, distribute spare equipment and transfer equipment from one outpost to another.  Schedules and coordinates inspections of equipment and subsequent repairs.  Builds and maintains the fleet budget and monitors equipment age, miles and hours to plan for replacement.  Coordinates with internal customers on specifications and designs of equipment to purchase.  Coordinates preparation of equipment for sale and manages the proper processing of sold equipment.

This position requires five years of experience in fleet management or project management, a related associates degree or a bachelor’s degree and a valid Wyoming class “A” commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement. Working knowledge of Microsoft office products:  Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams are required.
