Position Summary:
Incumbent will play a leadership role in UCI Health's strategic partnerships and affiliations efforts, including establishing partnerships with other hospitals and health systems, physician groups, and other health care providers such as post-acute care services, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging, and lab providers. These projects may also entail partnering with employers, divesting select businesses or assets, and creating new companies with an eye toward maximizing enterprise profitability. Incumbent plays an important role in driving growth-oriented projects such as entering new markets and expanding UCI Health's capabilities and services. This individual will work closely with leaders from across UCI Health, including Strategic Deployment, Strategic Planning, School of Medicine, legal, finance, IT/IS, and hospital and physician leaders. The role will interface regularly with UCI Health's executive leadership team and collaborate with external consultants and partners, maintaining strong relationships to advance UCI Health's vision. The role will help build UCI Health's Partnerships and Affiliations function, including attracting, developing and leading members of the team.
Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $93,700.00 Midpoint $152,500.00 Maximum $211,300.00
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Master's Degree in business, healthcare administration or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience with structured Change Management methodologies
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.)
Ability to manage risk and ambiguity on a project
Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
Effective communicator able to understand the needs of a variety of audience members and tailor a message accordingly
Results-oriented change agent who is an effective business systems thinker
Proven ability to quickly develop credibility with various/all constituencies
Demonstrates team leadership, motivational skills and good creative problem solving skills
Effective report writing, presentation skills, and written and verbal communication skills in English to a broad and diverse audience
Ability to effectively work with key stakeholders to successfully understand and deliver desired outcomes
Ability to plan, set expectations (for self and others), and accomplish multiple objectives within specific timeframes.
5+ years of internal or external management, strategy, or finance consulting
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified in Change Management
Strong project management skills
