As a Remote Senior ServiceNow Developer, you need to know how to:
The ServiceNow Senior Developer provides assistance in oversight and guidance of the platform throughout SCL Health. The person uses their extensive knowledge across the platform, along with industry and company standards and best practices to design, develop, and deploy solutions to the organization.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the design, development, and implementation of the following capabilities within ServiceNow platform: ITSM, ITOM, Asset Management, Field Services, Nuvolo, and other supported apps
- Proactively maintain knowledge and understanding of the latest ServiceNow features and product offerings
- Research and evaluate technical solutions to make informed recommendations on the most appropriate, efficient, and cost-effective solution based on the customer requirements
- Designs data models and architecture required to implement solutions using best practices and standards in support of the health and upgradability of the ServiceNow platform
- Assist the Business Analyst and process stakeholders to capture the appropriate levels of documentation and effort estimates against Agile stories
- Perform development of solutions in support of SCL processes within the platform.
- Produces and maintains detailed knowledge transfer documentation including design specs, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, technical notes, testing, etc.
- Perform and participate in product roadmap planning
- Identify trends across SCL Health ServiceNow applications to improve future synergies
- Drive continual service improvement through establishment of best practices, reusable assets, and refinement of the implementation processes

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience implementing ServiceNow solutions
- Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, Angular JS, Restful API, Powershell etc.) and developing with JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform.
- Expertise experience in ServiceNow with knowledge core ITSM processes
- Experience leading Agile and SCRUM development including daily standups
- Experience leading projects in a Project Manager role
- Ability to customize workflows, Business Rules, and UI Scripts using JavaScript to create custom applications and configurations on the ServiceNow platform
Preferred:
- Expertise experience in ServiceNow scoped application development
- Certified Application Developer, ITIL Foundations Certification
