Posting Summary: Plan, design, create, and disseminate multimedia materials (web design, video development, graphical data presentation, etc.) across the college's tripartite land-grant mission of conducting research, serving the community, and teaching our stakeholders.
Strategically conceptualizes, designs, executes and/or updates various branded projects, including graphic artwork and a wide range of multimedia solutions supporting the TSU College of Agriculture
Able to create original designs with a high visual impact and work within the existing University brand guidelines.
Provide leadership for projects from small-scale updates of existing designs to larger-scale items such as magazines, displays, special projects and social marketing campaigns.
Possess a good understanding of how design relates to emerging technologies and social media.
Ability to use photography, digital imaging, videography to record and market College of Agriculture events and activities.
Provides support and solutions for the professional staff in designing and maintaining the College of Agriculture web page.
Strong communication skills: interpersonal and organizational
Strong design skills to include composition, typography, color and photography.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency with current version of the Adobe CS software
Proficiency in industry standard office suite software including digital presentation software.
Knowledge of printing processes and techniques.
Physical and mental ability to effectively perform the duties and responsibilities of the job, including long and irregular hours with in-state travel and out-of-state travel.
Willingness to work on weekends.
Performs other related work as needed.
