In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of routine cleaning tasks for the Operating Room and other Specialty units.

Your day.

As a Decontamination Technician you need to know how to:

• Sterilize equipment, wraps clean supplies and equipment and maintains records for all equipment;


• Assembles equipment and rechecks all equipment for cleanliness and/or impairment;


• Makes sure all equipment is properly maintained and all filters have been cleaned or exchanged;


• Performs routine adjustments and calibrations on equipment


• Assists with stocking and ordering supplies, assembling orders and performing deliveries and/or pick ups

Your experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 


• Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment


• Experience in understanding and usage of computers as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position preferred
