Your day.
The Director for Epic Community Connect oversees the sales process and program development for SCL Healthâ™s Epic Community Connect Program.In this role you will need to know how to:
- Position SCL Healthâ™s Community Connect program in the market and work with strategy and development to build the sales pipeline
- Effectively deliver sales presentations, facilitate proposal development, negotiate contracts, and development statements of work for prospective clients
- Work in partnership with the Director of Community Connect implementations for program delivery handoff, resource needs, and cost/budget management.
- Provide communication to management team and department associates through huddles, staff meetings and other forms of communication to relay updates regarding the Community Connect program
- Facilitate internal Community Connect governance structure
- Oversee resolution of issues related to service, safety, and quality, and ensure effective working relationships within the department/unit team and interdepartmentally.. Leads and participates in interdisciplinary committees throughout the organization.
- Direct human resource functions such as interviewing, selection, orientation, education/training, feedback, performance evaluation, and policy and procedure development. Oversees the maintenance of personnel files, including documentation of appropriate staff orientation, competency, training, discipline and performance reviews. Oversees department timekeeping and payroll.
- Collaborate with HR concerning employee issues and performance, and conduct employee coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions and annual appraisals. Ensure staff adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Prepare the operational and capital budgets, and monitor and report the performance of the department against budget. . Present business plans, reports, and other statistical data to executive leadership team.
Your experience
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
- Bachelorâ™s degree in healthcare, business or computer related area
- Six (6) years of work experience in the field is required, including at least five (5) years of previous supervisory or management level experience. Four years of additional experience in healthcare, business or computer related area may substitute for the required Bachelorâ™s degree
- Epic Community Connect experienced, highly preferred
- Project Management experience, preferred
- Experience with adult education and skills development, preferred
