As a Remote Senior Salesforce Developer, you need to know how to:
This role will focus on building, maintaining, and enhancing the apps and components needed to support Salesforce CRM. As a Salesforce Senior Developer you need to know how to:
- Build Salesforce solutions on Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Knowledge
- Design, develop and integrate Salesforce apps and components using appropriate configuration and customizations - APEX experience including Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, etc.
- Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Flow, Assignment Rules and email Alerts
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs.
- Migrate changes from development to test to production environment(s).
- Perform data updates/migration using Data Loader and other similar tools.
- Participate in weekly meetings, respond to customer requests and service tickets within established IT standards. Communicate with other IT staff as necessary to ensure effective resolution, and communicate resolution.
- Think creatively to assess problem statements and devise solutions that exceed expectations. Work with the stakeholders to understand the problem behind the request.
- Write documentation needed by users and implementation partners. Lead and participate in code reviews with other team members.
- Create, test and program solutions for Salesforce Health Cloud and other applications.
- Lead all phases of required implementations, including requirements documentation, configuration, customization, integration, and data migration.
- Define and support acceptance testing and gather feedback from pre-release testers.
- Maintain enthusiasm and curiosity for new Salesforce technology and keep knowledge and skills up to date.
- Support and extend code by other developers as needed. Develop well-structured, maintainable and easy to understand code.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Promote mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abide by service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of CRM platform development, configuration, and management capabilities.
- Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively with remote team members.

Required:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a CRM Developer
- Extensive experience with third party libraries, APIs
- Experience with data integration tools
Preferred:
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with electronic medical record platforms, such as Epic
- Salesforce Health Cloud, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or/and II Certification
Education:
- Bachelorâ™s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Business or applicable major.
