Your day.

As a ServiceNow Developer you need to know how to:

• Create technical architecture, design, test, and user guide documentation for ServiceNow. Work independently and as a productive member of a team. Work closely with key stakeholders and senior technology leaders.


• Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows and business use cases. Design / develop ServiceNow forms, tables, modules as well as scripts and workflow.


• Develop the technical solutions, implement them and perform the component integration tests.


• Develop systems integrating ServiceNow with third-party software using REST/SOAP including scripted web services, MID servers.


• Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (including CMS/Service Portal).


• Leverage expert Java Scripting knowledge, including debugging knowledge to support development.


• Support the goals of service management processes in design and architecture. Adhere to and develop approved standards in software development.


• Enable visibility into service metrics & transparency through reporting dashboards design.


• Develop user friendly service catalog items with experience writing orchestration workflows such as Content Management, Web Services.


• Integrate data from multiple data sources where appropriate into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Bachelorâ™s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field


• Current ServiceNow System Administration certification


• Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer supporting IT service management with experience in implementation and configuration of core applications including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Configuration Management and Service Portal


• Minimum of three (3) years of experience scripting, configuration, integrations, and administration


• Minimum of three (3) years of experience designing, creating and configuring Business Rules or a minimum of three (3) years of experience with installation & testing of ServiceNow updates & new releases

Preferred:

• Previous experience in support activities in a complex, multiple site business environment


• Previous project management and business analysis experience


• Additional ServiceNow experience supporting IT Business Management or HR


• Current ITIL Foundations certification


• Current Project Management (PMP) certification
