Job Summary

Under direct supervision from the Program Director, create, edit, manage, design and implement CITRIS workshop and virtual student events, and monthly management of the CITRIS website http://citris.ucdavis.edu/. Provide promotion materials to encourage student participation and program delivery. Provide support for new program development and custom programs as needed. Assist as needed with event and workshop planning, promotion, and implementation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Lift and transport classroom materials/supplies weighing up to 25 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work occasional overtime, evenings and weekends when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• BS Degree in Digital & Graphic Design; or equivalent experience / training.

• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, and website design and implementation are required.

• Position will also require use of digital photographer and audio recording equipment, editing video, and preparing video content for the CITRIS social media channels.

• Photography and video editing experience required with Blackmagic cinema camera.

• Familiarity with Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma - High Fidelity Prototyping for User Interfaces; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator - Graphic Imagery, Marketing Campaigns, Logo Design. Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D - Video Production and Motion Graphics

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Wordpress, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS/Javascript, and/or Swift Programming languages - Web Design Development.

• Core foundational skill in User-Centered Design and Design Thinking Methodologies.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
