As a Barclays Lead- SDET, AVP you will Manage Test (Manual + Automation) delivery for a large programme or multiple projects independently. You will need to demonstrate agility and innovation and encourage team to bring innovative ideas to solve Testing problems, meet project's, line of business' and Transaction cycle goals. You will be also responsible for continuous improvement of test methods, techniques and processes.

What will you be doing? ??? Scoping and estimating quality engineering engagements
??? Test Planning and assisting developers in designing automated unit and integration tests
??? Creating automated Testware - estimates, scenarios, cases, data and tests
??? Reviewing test planning/execution and consulting for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency for deliverables
??? Mentoring and supporting junior team members, including test automation skill development and performance management
??? Monitoring team progress and communicating with stakeholders on test engineering progress and maturity
??? Supporting and maintenance of Test Automation code and frameworks/test harnesses
??? Managing Test projects and working closely with the project/application team
What we're looking for: ??? Understanding of IT systems and functioning with an aptitude to learn tools/apps/processes/domains
??? Problem solving abilities and experience with test automation assessment, strategy, management and familiar with BDD/CICD/DevOPs,TestNG, REST, Selenium, Cucumber
??? Exposure to working in testing projects in a team environment with relevant work experience
??? Leadership skills, conflict management skills and ability to articulate thoughts spoken/written with global teams
Skills that will help you in the role: ??? Exposure to Automation frameworks and scripting skills
??? Awareness of modern programming languages like Java/Python
??? Experience in planning/executing testing aligned to the Agile pyramid
??? Professional certifications in programming/Automation scripting
