Job Description:The Interim Coordinator for Career and Professional Development will support student success through the coordination and communication of opportunities for internships, employment, or postgraduate service in the Office of Career and Professional Development Services. To provide general administrative support to the Office of Career and Professional Development and serves as the primary support for the Executive Director for Career and Professional Development. To provide project management for career events and activities that support student career and professional development.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for management of the digital employment platform (e.g., Handshake).
- Provides development and implementation of student communications and digital social media.
- Plays a key role in the project management of internal and external organization career events, panels, workshops, and presentation.
- Works closely with the Assistant Directors of Career Counseling and the Assistant Director for Internship and Employer Relations.
- Provides general administrative support for the department and serves as the primary support for the Executive Director for Career and Professional Development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:Knowledge: - Knowledge of Handshake; Canva ; and other digital applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Publisher, Project, Visio)
- Understanding of Adobe (Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop)
- Strong working knowledge of Sitebuilder Resource25
- Knowledge of ADP Products

Education: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Counseling, Psychology, Film and Television, or related field.
Experience: - Minimum 1 year of experience working in Career Counseling, Human Resources, Events Management, or related area.
- Two years of experience preferred with ascending responsibilities.
Additional Information:Work Location: Both Chalon Campus (West Los Angeles) and Doheny Campus (Downtown Los Angeles)
